TW-4765B(LR) & TW-4765C(HR)

Product description:

TracWater TW-4765B/C COD Sensor features highly reliable UVC LED for light absorption measurement. Automatically compensates for turbidity interference and has excellent test performance. Low cost and low maintenance.

Overview

TracWater TW-4765B/C COD sensors adopt the UV absorption technology to accurately quantify dissolved organic contaminants in water. It measures the absorption of organic molecules at a wavelength of 254 nm using UV light. The sensors feature an integrated turbidity detection light source that automatically compensates for turbidity interference in water samples. Additionally, it is equipped with a self-cleaning brush, ensuring excellent stability during long-term online monitoring.

Features

  • Requires no reagents, ensuring pollution-free operation, and offering a more economical and environmentally friendly solution.

  • Capable of measuring multiple parameters, including COD, TOC, turbidity, and temperature.

  • Features automatic compensation for turbidity interference.

  • Equipped with a self-cleaning brush that effectively prevents microbial adhesion, significantly extending the maintenance cycle.

  • Includes calibration parameters to facilitate on-site and secondary calibration processes.

Applications

  • Source Water Monitoring: It is excellent for source water quality monitoring, helping to maintain compliance with safety and health laws.

  • Surface Water Monitoring: Well-suited to the detection of organic pollutants in natural and flowing water bodies like rivers, lakes, etc.

  • Municipal Sewage: In municipal wastewater treatment plants to provide online monitoring of key organic pollutants, this helps to comply with environmental regulations.

  • Industrial Wastewater: Typically, applicable in industrial settings which require the monitoring of organic pollutants for process control and regulatory compliance.
