TracWater Self-cleaning TSS Sensor (HR)
Model number:
TW-4732A
Product description:
TracWater TW-4732A TSS Sensor operates on the principle of the combined infrared scattering method. It is equipped with a self-cleaning brush, which effectively removes air bubbles and minimises the impact of contamination on measurements, thereby extending maintenance cycles.
Overview
TracWater TW-4732A self-cleaning TSS sensor adopts the combined infrared scattering method, which is based on ISO7027 infrared scattering technology. This sensor is capable of accurately measuring suspended solids concentration irrespective of colour. Its sapphire light guide structure ensures exceptional repeatability and stability. Furthermore, the sensor operates without the need for reagents, making it a cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution.
Features
Digital sensor with RS485 output and MODBUS protocol.
Utilises infrared double-scattered light technology, compliant with the IS07027 international standard.
Features sapphire custom optical windows and filters, providing resistance to ambient light interference and colour variations.
Equipped with a self-cleaning brush to prevent microbial attachment and extend the maintenance interval.
Includes built-in calibration parameters for on-site use and secondary calibration procedures.
Applications
Wastewater Treatment: Ideal for monitoring sludge concentration in wastewater treatment plants to ensure efficient processing and regulatory compliance.
Industrial Processes: Useful in various industrial applications where monitoring suspended solids is necessary for process control and water quality.
Environmental Monitoring: Suitable for environmental monitoring of natural water bodies, ensuring the detection and management of suspended solids.
