TracWater Self-cleaning CDOM Sensor
Model number:
TW-4733A
Product description:
TracWater TW-4733A CDOM Sensor adopts the analysis principle of ultraviolet fluorescence method to detect coloured soluble organic matter in water. It is suitable for the measurement of coloured soluble organic matter in rivers and lakes with high sensitivity and small size.
Overview
TracWater TW-4733A CDOM sensor adopts ultraviolet fluorescence technology to detect coloured dissolved organic matter (CDOM) in water. Due to its high sensitivity and compact design, it is particularly well-suited for measuring such substances in rivers and lakes. The sensor features an integrated cleaning brush, which effectively removes bubbles, minimises contamination effects on measurements, and extends the maintenance interval. Additionally, it ensures exceptional stability for long-term online monitoring.
Features
Digital sensor with RS485 output and support for the standard MODBUS protocol.
Utilises ultraviolet fluorescence analysis, specifically designed for detecting coloured soluble organic matter in water.
Capable of measuring seawater and high-salinity samples while requiring minimal maintenance.
Equipped with a cleaning brush to prevent microbial attachment and extend the maintenance interval.
Includes built-in calibration parameters for convenient on-site use and secondary recalibration.
Applications
Rivers and Lakes Monitoring: Ideal for measuring CDOM in natural water bodies such as rivers and lakes, where high sensitivity and accurate detection are essential.
Environmental Monitoring: Suitable for environmental agencies and researchers monitoring water quality to detect and track organic matter pollution.
Water Treatment Facilities: Can be used in water treatment plants to monitor and control the levels of dissolved organic matter, ensuring the effectiveness of the treatment process.
Industrial Effluents: Helps industries monitor the quality of their effluents, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations regarding organic matter discharge.
