TracWater Online Oil in Water Detection Sensor
Overview
TracWater TW-4830B Oil in Water Sensor adopts the ultraviolet fluorescence method, which is more efficient, faster, and exhibits superior repeatability compared to several commonly used techniques. This sensor facilitates real-time online monitoring and delivers outstanding repeatability and stability for detecting dissolved and emulsified oils in water. It finds extensive application in oil field monitoring, pipeline transportation, petrochemical processes, oil pollution detection, and various other water quality measurement scenarios.
Features
Digital sensor with RS485 output and standard MODBUS protocol.
Online oil-in-water analyser employing the ultraviolet fluorescence method, offering high sensitivity.
Requires no reagents, features strong anti-interference capability, and eliminates the need for frequent calibration.
Constructed from titanium alloy, enabling measurement of seawater and high-salinity samples with minimal maintenance requirements.
Includes built-in calibration parameters to facilitate on-site use and secondary calibration.
Applications
Oil Field Monitoring: Ensures oil contamination in water used or produced in oil extraction processes is detected and managed.
Industrial Circulating Water Systems: Monitors oil levels in water used in industrial processes, keeping it within safe limits.
Condensate Water Systems: Detects oil in water condensed from steam in power plants and other industrial facilities.
Wastewater Treatment Facilities: Ensures treated water meets regulatory standards for oil content before discharge or reuse.
Surface Water Monitoring Stations: Monitors natural bodies of water for oil contamination, crucial for environmental protection.
