TracWater Oil in Water Detection Sensor
Model number:
TW-4730C
Product description:
TracWater TW-4730C Oil in Water Detection Sensor adopts the principle of ultraviolet fluorescence technique with high sensitivity. Widely used in oil field monitoring, industrial circulating water, condensate water, wastewater treatment, surface water station, etc.
Overview
TracWater TW-4730C oil in water sensor utilises the ultraviolet fluorescence method, which is more efficient, faster, and exhibits better repeatability compared to other conventional methods. This method enhances the detection of dissolved and emulsifiable oils with improved consistency and stability. Equipped with an automatic cleaning brush, the sensor effectively removes air bubbles and reduces contamination, resulting in extended maintenance intervals and outstanding measurement stability.
Features
Digital sensor with RS485 output and standard MODBUS protocol.
Online oil-in-water analyser employing the ultraviolet fluorescence method with high sensitivity.
Requires no reagents, offers strong anti-interference performance, and avoids frequent calibration.
The sensor features a self-cleaning brush that effectively prevents microbial adhesion, extending the maintenance cycle and enhancing operational reliability.
Built-in calibration parameters for convenient on-site use and secondary calibration.
Applications
Oil Field Monitoring: To keep track of oil contamination in water used or produced in oil extraction processes.
Industrial Circulating Water: For monitoring oil levels in water used in industrial processes, ensuring it remains within safe limits.
Condensate Water: To detect oil in water condensed from steam in power plants and other industrial facilities.
Wastewater Treatment: For ensuring treated water meets regulatory standards for oil content before discharge or reuse.
Surface Water Stations: To monitor natural bodies of water for oil contamination, which is crucial for environmental protection.
