TracWater Mini Buoy Monitoring System

Model number:

TW-9714

Product description:

TracWater TW-9714 Mini Data Buoy features a low centre design for improved stability and reliability. It is equipped with a sensor with a built-in automatic cleaning device, requiring low maintenance and offering convenient later operation and maintenance. Deploying multiple buoys allows for comprehensive monitoring of large areas of water.

Overview

Data buoys are essential tools for collecting and transmitting real-time data from oceans, lakes, and other water bodies. The TracWater TW-9714 Buoy Monitoring System is specifically designed for surface water monitoring applications. It features a low centre of gravity design, a durable PE housing, EVA filling material, and built-in screws, ensuring stable and reliable buoy operation. Powered by solar energy, the system supports multiple data transmission modes, including GPRS, 3G, 4G, or NB-IoT, with data accessible via PC or mobile App. Each data buoy is deployed at designated monitoring points to ensure real-time data transmission, accurate measurements, and reliable system performance without manual intervention. Depending on actual installation conditions. The TW-9714 mini-buoy system can carry TW-8214 online multi-parameter sensor OR the COD and ammonia.

Features

  • Light, compact and easy to deploy

  • Low centre of gravity design ensures enhanced stability and reliability.

  • Equipped with an automatic cleaning device to reduce maintenance frequency and ensure ease of operation.

  • Deploying multiple buoys enables comprehensive monitoring of large water areas.

  • Real-time online monitoring of multiple water quality parameters without reagents ensures accuracy and efficiency.

  • Powered by solar energy with battery backup and supported by cloud-based software for remote monitoring and maintenance, enabling system operation alarms and water quality status alerts.

Applications

  • Environmental Monitoring: Water Quality Assessment: Buoys are equipped with sensors to monitor parameters like salinity, pH, turbidity, and dissolved oxygen.

  • Pollution Tracking: They can detect oil spills, chemical leaks, and other pollutants, aiding in environmental protection efforts.

  • Fisheries and Marine Biology: Habitat Monitoring: Buoys collect data on ocean conditions that affect marine life, helping in the management of fisheries.

  • Species Tracking: Data on water temperature and currents assist in understanding the movement and behaviour of marine species.

  • Research and Education: Scientific Research: Data buoys support oceanographic research by providing high-resolution data on various oceanographic parameters.

  • Educational Tools: They are used in educational programs to teach students about marine science and data analysis.
