Product description:
TracWater TW-4749A Free Chlorine Sensor adopts a negative pulse of specific voltage amplitude applied between the polarised electrode and the reference electrode to selectively select free chlorine to participate in the reaction, so that it can undergo an electrochemical reaction at the cathode of the electrode, thus forming a current signal proportional to the concentration of free chlorine.
Overview
TracWater’s TW-4749A Free Chlorine Sensor employs a specific negative pulse voltage applied between the polarised and reference electrodes to selectively target free chlorine for reaction. This enables an electrochemical reaction at the electrode's cathode, generating a current signal that is directly proportional to the concentration of free chlorine. By collecting and analysing this current signal, the sensor accurately determines free chlorine levels. It offers strong selectivity, minimal maintenance requirements, a long electrode lifespan, and ensures high reliability without the need for part replacements.
